Know which kind you have

Places often take or price these differently:

  • Flat-screen (LCD, LED, plasma)
  • CRT / tube, rear-projection or console

Before you go

  1. Note whether it’s a flat screen or an older CRT (tube) set; many programs price them differently.
  2. Ask whether a cracked screen or broken glass changes the price or handling.
  3. Confirm the total cost, including any visit fee, before you load it.

Questions to ask. Not every place takes this item.
