    How it works

Weekly city collection for one- to three-family homes. Large items (furniture, mattresses, couches, TVs) and tires and household appliances (refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, air conditioners) are picked up on the normal collection day if set 3 feet from the carts; large volumes of bags/boxes need a Special Bulk Volume Pickup scheduled through 3-1-1 (3 per home per year). Flattened cardboard goes loose in the recycling cart.

    Cost & rules
    • Set out on your normal weekly collection day, no special bulk appointment needed.

Before you go

  1. Count each piece separately: mattress, box spring and topper can be priced differently.
  2. Check for moisture, mold or bed bugs; many recyclers refuse damaged bedding.
  3. Confirm per-piece pricing and whether wrapping or an appointment is required.
