    How it works

Ocean Springs Public Works picks up curbside debris, in most cases the day after your regular garbage pickup: furniture and miscellaneous household items (washer, dryer, TV, small appliances), tree trimmings, bagged leaves and hardened latex paint. Excluded: tires, automotive and mower batteries, refrigerators and freezers (Freon), hazardous waste, masonry and contractor debris. Public Works: 712-A Pine Drive, 228-875-3955.

    Cost & rules
    • Hardened latex paint only; no other paint.
    • Before you go: Place at the curb on the City right of way; pickup is usually the day after garbage day.

Before you go

  1. Note whether it’s latex (water-based) or oil-based; programs often treat them differently.
  2. Keep paint in its original, labelled, closed container.
  3. Ask about quantity limits per visit.
