    How it works

Holland residents enrolled in the city refuse and recycling program may request up to two coupons a year, each good for one free drop-off of up to 1,000 lbs of miscellaneous items (or one Freon appliance) at Republic Services / Westshore Recycle, Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and the first Saturday of each month 8-11 a.m. Request coupons from Community & Neighborhood Services, 616-355-1330; use within 15 days.

Before you go

  1. Count each piece separately: mattress, box spring and topper can be priced differently.
  2. Check for moisture, mold or bed bugs; many recyclers refuse damaged bedding.
  3. Confirm per-piece pricing and whether wrapping or an appointment is required.
