How it works
LRS, North Chicago's hauler since November 2022, collects one bulk item a week at no charge (sofas, love seats, sectional pieces, chairs, bed frames, mattresses wrapped in plastic, box springs). Appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers and microwaves must be prescheduled with LRS.
Cost & rules
- One bulk item per week on your regular service day.
- Before you go: Wrap mattresses in plastic.

Count each piece separately: mattress, box spring and topper can be priced differently.
Check for moisture, mold or bed bugs; many recyclers refuse damaged bedding.
Confirm per-piece pricing and whether wrapping or an appointment is required.
